Valentine's Day is coming soon....

Can you believe it....January is almost over! Where did the time go? Oh my! Well, this in mind, my focus today was a Valentine's card for my sweet niece.

I cannot wait to get this in the mail for her. (I added cotton candy stickles after taking the first pic)

The stamp is from Magnolia, her name is Tilda. I colored the image with copics, used Wilton mini heart doilies, SU! scalloped punch and CTMH "Say it in style".

Here are the copics I used:

I also used stickles by Ranger. The hat pin was something I put together from the jewlery section in Michaels : ) (I'm too cheap to by those from SU!) I also used pearly embellies from Michael's $1 spot.

Erica

This is Me...Missing You

My sweet husband is overseas. My darling daughter and I miss him dearly. I am currently in the process of putting a goodie package together for him and thought that I needed to include a card.
Here it is...

The box in the back of the truck comes out and opens to display an "I miss you" message.
The inside:
Here are the colors I used.

I colored the truck with copic markers, the truck stamp is from Print Works Collection , the dog is from Hero Arts, the "I miss you" stamp is from CTMH, the words "This is me...Missing you" were printed using MS Word. I also used Quick Quotes powder puffs in Hawaiian Blue and Ranger Inkssentials Glossy Accents.

Happy Birthday Cupcake!

Today was another whirlwind day! After lunch with my family, I came home to clean up the house, wash the car and do the laundry! I managed to get a birthday card done too! : ) It is a simple one! I saw the layout on a older post on Splitcoaststampers.

I made the round sentiment on Microsoft Word and just printed it on my printer. I used Fiskars Treading Water punch, Swiss Dots cuttlebug embossing folder, Nestabilities dies and paper from My Minds Eye (I love PAPER!!). The cupcake stamp is from the birthday cupcake clear stamp set by Inkadinkado.

I colored the cupcake with copic markers.

Stamp of the Month at my LSS

Whew!!! It has been another busy Saturday! I went to my LSS and made some great cards with the stamp of the month from Great Impressions. All were colored with copic markers. Here are a few of the cards I made.

Oh man! I just noticed that I colored the strawberries wrong on the first card! Woops! I got the chocolate and the red backwards! Guess that just makes this card even more special!

Stamps are from

Valentine's Hedgehogs

Penny Black stamps are so cute! This stamp is called T.L.C. I colored it with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. It is a fabulous coloring technique that allows the color to blend very well.
It gives the image a watercolored look.
Here is another version:

The card has a bow tied on the side which is pulled to open the card. Here is the inside...

I also used "Xmas red" stickles, Ranger glossy accents and SU! Happy Heart Day stamp set for the sentiment. I wrote "love you" on the front.

Doesn't this just put you in a Valentine's mood?

I will be teaching this card at my LSS (local scrap store) on Valentine's Day. If you are in the central Texas area, please stop by.

Happy Stampin!
-Erica

Thinking of You

This card was simple and quick to make. The stamp is from Inkadinkado. The background was stamped with SU! toile background stamp using Versamark watermark ink. Then I brushed on Pearl Ex Powdered Pigment in brillant yellow for a shimmery effect. Also used copics, nestabilities, lace, cuttlebug Swiss dots embossing folder and CTMH Say it In Style for "Thinking of You" sentiment.
Cardstock is light blue....hard to see from the pic.

Happy Stampin!

Erica

Do you know Tilda?

Here is Fall Tilda. She is a Magnolia stamp. I made this quick card for a birthday card swap at my LSS (local scrap/stamp store). I made it super simple because I do not know the person it is going to. {SMILE} Making cards is such a personal thing...

Here is a Tilda close up...

Even closer (her sweet little face)....

I just love coloring these stamps! This is a super simple and easy card. I also used Glossy Accents (http://www.rangerink.com/products/prod_inkssentials_glossy.htm) and Ice stickles (http://www.rangerink.com/products/prod_decorativeglue_icestickles.htm).

Now here are the copic colors I used:

Magnolia Stamps and copics

I am not sure which rock I have been stuck under, but I have just discovered Magnolia stamps! OMG! I love them! They are wonderfully cute stamps and super fun to color with copics (which I also love and have just discovered)! I highly recommend them to you!

Check them out:

Here are my copics....(aren't they just yummy!?!?)

This is a simple storage solution that I love. This is a tool storage bin system that I found at Home Depot for about $10. It hangs from my "storage board" which is white plastic pegboard. Great and sinple solution for storage of my markers.

Erica
